Fishing Supplies Hampshire

Carp fishing is a much specialised branch of course angling and there are many who do nothing else.

Remember you do not have to fish for Carp using the most up to date rigs and baits. It is still possible to fish for Carp using floats and ordinary bait bread and sweetcorn just as you would for Tench or Bream.

Any lake can be hard if you're not on the fish. It's good to keep your eyes open and look for fish either on the surface or throwing up clouds of silt. Also be aware of the wind, Carp like to move where a fresh wind is blowing.

It's also a good idea to research any water that you haven't fished before, so you get an idea gulley's and gravel bars are. Look for snags such as fallen trees, as they will hold fish as well.
